A couple from the Only Way is Essex appear to have confirmed that they are back together. The colleagues are said to have reconciled earlier this year following reports that they had decided to split up just months ago.

James 'Diags' Bennewith and Jodie Wells, both 33, began a relationship after meeting through the ITVBe show in 2023. It was however reported earlier this year that they had split up but they are since said to have rekindled their romance. The co-stars now appear to have confirmed on Instagram that they are back together. Just days ago, Jodie shared photos of her son Bear, three, on the platform. Between heart emojis, she wrote in the caption: "Being your mummy."

One photo in the post showed Jodie and her son on a day out alongside Diags. They were seen sat on a hay bale together at a farm, with Bear sat on his mum Jodie's knee whilst step-dad Diags posed beside them in the photo.

Diags was among those who reacted to the post, writing in the comments: "Best Mum in the world award." He included a red heart emoji and one depicting a medal. Jodie, who also used a heart emoji, replied to him: "I love you."

It comes following reports earlier this year that Diags and Jodie had split up after two years together. A source told the Sun in January that they had tried to "make things work" and had not been "getting on for a while" before separating.

The source said: "The pair have been desperately trying to make things work, but just couldn't keep things on track and have decided to split. There was a big disagreement over moving in together, but in the end it wasn't just that. They hadn't been getting on for a while and they were very different people."

The following month, there was further speculation that Diags and Jodie had decided to get back together. It was reported at the time that the couple were dating again after some time apart from each other to "reassess things".

A source told the Sun in February: "Jodie and Diags have had some time apart to reassess things and have realised that they want to give their relationship another go. It's still early stages but they are hoping to reconcile properly and work things out."

The source went on to suggest at the time that Diags and Jodie were prepared to address "any issues" after seeking advice from friends. The source added: "It's complicated but they're ready to iron out any issues after getting advice from their friends and having some time apart."

The Mirror has approached representatives for Diags and Jodie for comment.

Jodie first appeared on TOWIE in 2023 and she's been part of the cast since then. Whilst Diags has been on TOWIE since 2012, having made his debut in the fourth series - which was broadcast two years after the show launched.
