Woodland’s Boby Dazzler’s Christmas Trees has returned featuring a large selection of trees including fresh-cut noble, Douglas and Nordmann fir trees.

Ashley Bush, manager for the Farm, said this is only the second year the Farm has held a Christmas Tree Lot and is hoping for it to be as successful as the Farm’s yearly pumpkin patch.

“It was great,” Bush said regarding the pumpkin patch. “The heat kind of scares people away in the afternoon, so it got a little slow with the heat, but other than that it was really great.”

Bush added that things are starting to a little back to what they were before the COVID-19 pandemic as more people are becoming comfortable going out into the world.

She welcomes people to visit the farm now through Dec. 23  – unless trees sell out before then – to enjoy the family atmosphere she and her team have created.

“We have lots of different stuff to do just like the pumpkin patch,” Bush highlighted. “We have pony rides this year, Santa Claus is here some days, the Christmas Cow Train’s always worth coming out for and we have all different types of trees that are two feet to 13 feet, so it’s something for everybody.”

According to the website, Bobby Dazzlers tree sales will be available from noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Additionally, the farm has brought back its Christmas Cow Train and introduced Ed’s Pony Rides to the event. Train rides will be available every hour while pony rides are only available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25 through Sunday, Nov. 27.

Ed Wright, the owner of Ed’s Pony Rides, noted that the ponies might be back next week as well if the weather stays consistent.

“We’ll come if the weather holds,” he stressed. “If it rains, we won’t.”

Wright explained that he used to help his grandparents offer pony rides in Southern California when he was 12 years old.

“I went into the military, came out, got busy with the railroads for 36 years and I decided that I wanted to do this when I retired,” Wright added. “The kids are great. They have fun and I want to be able to give it to any kid who wants a pony ride who’s never ridden a pony before or even seen a pony before.”

  • 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9

Bobby Dazzlers Farms is located at 23300 County Road 99D in Woodland. The Farm’s website noted that the only entrance is from County Road 29, turning north onto County Road 99D.

“Please text asking for detailed directions if needed,” the website stressed. “We are on the frontage road for HWY 113 between Woodland and Davis.”
